BANGKOK ALUMNI REUNION: 18th AUGUST 2011 The next Bangkok reunion will be held on Thursday 18th August 2011 from 6.30pm onwards, in the new Secondary Student Interchange area. This will have officially opened to students at the start of the new academic year. This year we will be inviting the Class of 2012 to attend so they can quiz you about what life is like after Patana. Come along, meet some future alumni and take a look at the new facilities at your old school, you might just be surprised! CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 2011 On Saturday 4th June, the current Class of 2011 celebrated their graduation at a ceremony held in the Rosamund Steutzel Theatre in the school's Arts Centre. His Excellency Mr Vithaya Vejjajiva, former Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and former Foundation Board Member, addressed the graduates as Guest of Honour before the diplomas were presented by Dr Tej Bunnag, Chairman of the school's Board. The formal ceremony was followed by dinner in the transformed Sports Hall. Farewell Class of 2011, hello alumni! HAPPY SONGKRAN As school prepares to close its doors for the two week Songkran holidays, we would like to extend our best wishes to you all for a happy Songkran/Easter/Vaisakhi/Passover/Royal Wedding (apologies for any festivals inadvertently omitted). LONDON ALUMNI EVENT On Saturday 29th January over 50 ex-students and staff gathered in London for the annual alumni reunion. It was great to see recent and not so recent graduates alongside several members of ex-staff including those from as far away as Dubai and Bristol! Some 50 guests attended the Alumni Reunion event in the new Arts Centre last week. The new Arts Centre has risen majestically out of the ground throughout 2010 and is generating much excitement throughout the school. Now the roof is on, the inside is being furbished ready for the start of the new academic year in August.
