I have enjoyed watching birds so much that i saw a Indian Rollor. The most birds that i saw was normal birds in thailand. And my favourite bird is Indian Rollor beacuse it has nice wings. I made a bird feeder I used bottle, wood, bird food, string. I hoped to see a magpie Indian Rollor. Next time when i make a bird feeder that is small so the tiny birds can get in but the Magpies wont.

Making my bird feeder was super fun.I used all recycled things. I used a big plastic bottle, 2 wooden spoons, a piece of plastic card and plastic string. It was easy to make apart from when I had to cut out the holes to put the spoons in and the flap to put the food in because the plastic was very strong.
I hope to see lots and lots of birds coming and eating from my bird feeder and if a blue roller comes I would be excited to watch it eat from my bird feeder, only if it fits under the roof ! The Blue Roller is one of my favourite birds because I saw one with my class when we went bird watching. It looked so beautiful when it spread its wings.

Last week we have been making bird feeders in our class!

How did you make your bird feeder?
First I got my bottle and made three marks on bottle, one on one side and two above each other on the other side.

Next I asked Miss. Ann to help me, using the thingy to make wholes in the bottle. After that I got a pair of siccors to cut a big round whole for the bird to get in.

Then I puted a chopstick in the whole and in through the bottle, later on I tied a piece of green string to the handle, I tied a phew nots so it is strong to stay on the tree and then it was ready for the food!

There were two sorts of food one fat one and the other one was small, Sugar and Rachel help me to put the food in and we also cleaned
up our classroom and Rachel was picking up the big seeds from he floor and putting it in her bottle cause there werenone left for her.

We missed lunch time cause we were in the classroom helping! So we got to eat Mr X's snacks when everybody came back and we got a marbel!

What would you hope to see at your bird feeder?
I would want to see the birds enjoying their free food!

Every day when I get home, I will run upstairs to my balcony and check my bird feeder. However, every time when I get home, birds are gone. So, I have an idea, I will print a fake paper bird that looks the same as a bird and put it on the perch, so birds will think it’s ok for them to eat. Every time when I come back from school, birds might hear my loud noises from asking nanny to open the gate, so I will ask my mom where the doorbell is and so the noise won’t bother birds. The maximum of birds I saw was zero. That’s why I made up a plan for birds to stay.

How did you make your bird feeder?

Last week we made bird feeders out of recycled materials. First I chose a bottle and made marks on it - this marks are for the birds' perches. I asked Ms Ann to help me put the chopsticks in.

I got two gold coloured caps for where the birds were going to eat. I glued them on to one of the chopsticks. Then I glued the caps and chopstick to the top of the bottle. I went to get a green plastic cardboard for the roof and stuck it on the bottom of the bottle.

Then I cut a hole on the side of the bottle where I can put the bird seed in. I then used a string to tie a knot on the plastic cardboard. When I am done, I turned the bottle upside down and filled it with bird seed.

That is how I made my recycled bird feeder for Green Day.

I enjoyed bird watching! I saw a lot of Sparrows. My favorite bird is the Indian Roller cause it has awesome wings. Then I made a bird feeder using a bottle, chopstick, string and bird food. I hoped to see the Indian Roller. But they can’t come cause the hole is too small for it . Maybe I’ll fix it in the weekends.

On green day I made my bird feeder!

First, I glued 2 big caps to a stick.

Then, I made a hole to put the bird seeds in.

Next, I glued the bottle onto the caps and a cover for the roof.

After that, I glued the rope to the roof.

Finally, I put in the bird seed.

On Green Day we made bird feeders.
Seth and I were building one together.
First we we took the Jim Bean black tin and poked 4 holes in it. Then we poked a holes in the bottom of 4 plastic bottles. We stuck woodned sticks to the bottoms of the bottles. With the bottle laying on its side, we cut a large hole along the top for the birds to eat the seeds from. The stick, that we stuck into the plastic bottles, was now used to stick the bottles into the Jim Bean tin. The roof was made out of cardboard and glued to the top of the Jim Bean tin. We added extra cardboard to help protect the bird seed in the bottles from the rain.

Seth got to take it home and I hope the birds are enjoying it.

If I met a cave-man, I would ask him these questions:

Where do you live? I would like to ask him that because I wonder if he lives in a cave or a giant piece of stone that's carved to look like a house.

How did you come here? I'll ask him that because cave-men aren't supposed to live in this time.

How can you take a bath? I'll ask him that because I'll bet he'll smell smelly.

Those are my 3 questions I'll ask him.

If I met a caveman, I would ask him these questions...

My first question is...
How do you get food? I will ask him this question because if he doesn't get food, then he would be starving without food!

My second question is...
What do you eat? I will ask him that question because there won't be animals around that wants to be this ugly caveman's prey so he won't get much food for him.

My last question would be...
How do you keep warm in winter? I will ask him that question because he would be very cold and he has very thin cloths also the outside of his cave might be snowing but he does have a beard that can keep him warm and also he is very hairy!

These are my questions that I have to ask the caveman.

3.How did he come here? Because I knew there were no time travelers in cavemen time.

4.Do you know where to go? Because I wouldn't want him to become a beggar on the streets.

Those are my questions.
