One cold, wintry day I went for a stroll in the woods. The ground was a thick blanket of white, fluffy snow. Spiky icicles hung from branches like twisted fingers. All was silent. All was still…
At first, I decided to wander down to the lake. It was like an ice-rink! I wished I could skate on the lake but it was too dangerous.
A little later, I scrambled up the hill so I could go sledging. Suddenly, I heard a rustle in the trees. A minute later, I heard footsteps crunching in the snow. They seemed to be getting closer and closer and louder and louder…
All of a sudden a huge, terrifying snow beast appeared from behind a black, shadowy tree. It had sharp teeth, red-devilish eyes and claws like daggers. I was petrified!
As quick a flash, I sprinted to the edge of the woods but the deadly creature was chasing me! I jumped over bushes, boulders and streams.
Just then, I spotted a road. A small, red car was coming towards me. I stood in the middle of the road and yelled, “HELP! HELP!”
Luckily, the car stopped and I climbed in. But as we sped off, the driver of the car turned around. He had sharp teeth, red-devilish eyes and claws like daggers…
