Published Sunday, December 18, 2011.
Last updated: Sunday, December 18, 2011

Here is a yummy recipe for easy Christmas Truffles that you can make at home with your children.

 You will need:

I packet of digestive biscuits

1/3 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup of coconut

1 tin condensed milk

Equipment:

Set of scales

1 mixing bowl

1 baking tray

spoons

freezer bags

Decoration

Icing sugar and coconut.

Method

First crush the biscuits and place into a mixing bowl.

Next add the cocoa and coconut, mix together.

After that, take a small amount of mixture and roll into a ball.

Then roll into the icing sugar, or cocoa or coconut and place the chocolate ball into the baking tray.

Continue with the rest of the mixture.  You should make 20 balls.

Finally, chill in the fride for 30 minutes.

EAT and ENJOY!

I was going to have a go at making these with Tilly too!

Miss Clare would also like to say a big thank you to all the children and parents who have made term one such a lovely time - and also to say goodbye and good luck to Filippo and Niranjan.

Thank you also for the kind messages and pictures on my special Christmas box.

See you all on Monday 9th January 2012!

Father Christmas comes to Patana

What a term! We have finally reached the end and what a lot of fun we have had!

This week children have been busy with Christmas activities and writing their notes to Santa. We got an email from Santa today and later went to visit him.

Children delivered their Secret Santas to the front of school for the children at the orphange.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday and look forward to seeing you all in 2012!
