1C class: Look what we have been doing in 1C!
Stories in different languages

On Wednesday, Year 1 children heard a range of stories in different languages. 1C heard 'The elves and the shoe maker' in Mandarin. 'The little red hen' in French, A troll story in Norwegian and a story about a goose in Turkish.
Children were able to follow the stories by using the picture clues and a variety of props and catch phrases.
Many thanks to all those parent who contributed in making this a fun activity for our year 1 children.

My favourite story was The elves and the shoemaker because I could understand a little bit of the Mandarin.
