Samrong Market
Today Year 1C went to Samrong Market to buy some fruit for our fruit salad and fruit monster. The children had 30 baht each to sepnd on fruits of their choices. They could also group together to buy fruits with their left over money. When we got back to school children went in to groups and did a range of activities from sorting fruits on the computer, observational drawings of fruit, fruit paintings and skills to prepare the fruit for their fruit salads.
Some of the skills we were investigating were - Peeling, chopping, squeezing, slicing and grating. Can you grate a banana? Can you squeeze a watermelon. It was very messy but lots of fun!!
See our pictures, more to come!
Looks like a lot of fun. Can I have a fruit monster too please?
