Making Celebration Posters with Year 5

Throughout the term children have been learning about celebrations how to find information from different sources. We have been learning about teh features of non fiction pages and how they must have a heading, a picture with a label and caption, a body text that tells you information.
The children chose a celebration and asked their parents relevant questions about the celebration. Along with the answers to these questions, non fiction books, the internet, and the knowledge of our Year 5 buddies the posters began to emerge!
It was a delight to see the Year 5 students working alongside the Year 1 children. Watch out for their finished posters.
