Published on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 LikeIt is not a thunk. We cannot answer with the six choises we disscused in the classroom. We need more knowledge on this as astronauts need special equipments and under go intenst training to survive on the moon.

Words, words, words........
Words can be very powerful. You have been finding this out by using appealing adjectives and bossy verbs in your planet adverts. Use a thesaurus (online link here: http://thesaurus.com/) to find five synonyms for the following words. Only write down the words which you understand.
- Beautiful (adjective)
- Sad (adjective)
- Happy (adjective)
- Said (verb)
- Looked (verb)
- Ate (Verb)
- Walked (verb)
Choose one synonym from each group and put them into a sentence to show that you understand the shades of meaning expressed by these different words. We will explore this more in class. Use a complex sentence if you can. Try the connective first!
