Literacy Homework Wednesday 22nd September
Due Friday 24th September
In Literacy this week we have been looking at finding synonyms to extend our vocabulary. For homework you need to use a thesaurus to find at least 6 synonyms for the following words. If you do not have a thesuarus at home use this link to help.
THE TITLE IS SYNONYMS
http://thesaurus.com/browse/scared
Scared
Excited
Tired
Big
Small
Angry
Worried
Mean
Hot
Cold
Once you have done this, please sort your words in order to show their shades of meaning. End with the most extreme meaning of the word.
For example: Happy
Glad, pleased, content, cheerful, joyful, delighted, thrilled, jubilant, ecstatic
Optional Extension: Write a descriptive paragraph on a subject of your choice, trying to use as many of your fabulous new words.

Many people have asked about the title. So many that I don't have time to post them all. No more!
No Clay with Claude practise tomorrow I'm afraid, we are just too busy.
Although you could get into shape by wiggling your fingers alot between now and Friday. This will help when you finally get your hands on the clay.
