This Weeks Learning
We've had a fun week learning writing our Rainforest stories, creating germination videos, learning about photosynthesis and taking part in rainforest drama! Wow. Here are some links which you may find useful to help you with your learning.
Don't forget to bring in your final matrix learning on Monday - I'm really looking forward to seeing all of your learning. Have a lovely weekend and keep reading! Thank you to all the children who have brought in books to help us with the reading olympics.
Here is a short video which explains more about plants.

Here is the game I put on the blog last week, if you follow the link it should work better - http://www.hyperstaffs.info/work/biology/Handford/artifact/start.html
Finally our great Kapok Tree - Can you remember all the reasons why we shouldn't cut down trees? Luckily Nikolas (the logger) decided to leave the tree (and the animals) in peace.
Next week we will be looking at our final questions - how is deforestation connected to climate change and what can we do to help?

The animal acting was fun.
And the video helped me alto with photosynthesis
The video was really cool and the rainforest act was also very fun and the acting was good.

Hurray - the Reading Olympics has arrived. You've got your teams, you've got your books, it's time to get reading! Remember the more your team can read, the better! I'm very excited to see so many of you excited about reading. If you have any of these books at home, can you please lend them to the class. We promise to label them carefully and look after them.
