Mexico is a land of many tourist attractions and there are lots for visitors to see and do there.
Your task is to research 3 of Mexico’s main attractions.
Mexico City, Cozumel and Palenque.
One of these is a beach resort. One is an ancient site. One is a capital city.
Have a look at each destination and make notes on the following:
- Where is each location's destination.
- Why people would visit there
- Descriptive words and phrases that describe the location
- What activities can you do there?
Extension – write down a list of words or phrases that would help you persuade someone to visit a holiday destination and look at the layout of holiday brochures.
Mexico is a awesome country. Today I did Mexican yarn painting and it looked so cool.

In class we have been looking at words that end in vowels other than ‘e’. Many are food and musical words, like samosa, mango, pasta, and viola, piano and vuvuzela. Complete your spelling sheet.
Choose ten words, and write them down in the singular and plural form (use a dictionary to help you check the correct plural spelling).
Put each word into an alliterative sentence, for example:
Pizzas are perfect for peckish children.
Samosas are scrummy for starving school kids.
Ms Jo can we write it down on a peice of paper?
