Your job….
In your literacy books draw a picture of a friend of yours and think of five similes and metaphors that describe them. For example: My friend is a scrumptious chocolate (metaphor). Or: My friend is as pretty as a picture (simile).
If you want to do more you could write a short poem about a friend of yours using similes and metaphors. Here is an example of a poem about a friend that uses metaphors. We will listen to your work in class on Friday morning!
