4J's Jolly Jungle: Find out what's going on in 4J.

Global Warming

Published Tuesday, April 03, 2012.
Last updated: Tuesday, April 03, 2012

Today we started to look at climate change and global warming. Learning about climate change will help us answer the next questions in our learning journey:

  • How is deforestation CONNECTED to environmental change?
  • What could we do to help?

Do you have the answers?

Here are some fo teh websites we looked at - the first one is new and has a great video which helps explain things even further.

Maybe one way to help prevent deforestation in the first place would be to write a powerful, persuasive letter to a company such as 'Blue Lagoon', showing our support for the environment and the future? This is something we can discuss tomorrow.

It was a pleasure to share your matrix home learning. I look forward to reading these in even more detail and writing up your certificates. You will get these after the Songkran break.

PS: Don't forget your Songkran Splash afternoon tomorrow! Check out the Year 5 home page for more info - come in uniform and bring your kit so that we can change after lunch.

PPS - Please remember to bring your parent consultation slips in tomorrow.
