The story of Oliver Twist is a very well known tale set in Victorian Britain.

The story was written by the famous author Charles Dickens.
If you have time over the holidays try to find out about the story and the characters. Charles Dickens has created some of the best characters ever! The Artful Dodger is brilliant!
Victorian Day will be on Wednesday 2nd May.
You will want to start to thinking about your costume over the holidays. Most Victorian costumes are fairly simple. For the boys, a pair of dark shorts with a collared shirt and waistcoat is fine. Perhaps a flat cap to finish off the look.
For the girls, a simple dark dress with a white apron over the top has been a popular choice in previous years.
Or you may want to go to town and dress as a well to-do Victorian gentleman or lady. Up to you!
Follow the link below for some photos of previous Victorian days. This will give you some ideas for your outfits.
