Spelling Homework - River Topic Words

You have all written down your river words, that we have been learning in humanities this week. Please make sure you understand the meaning of these words - you can write the definitions using the game "Call my Bluff" or making up a crossword.
Here is an example of call my bluff:
contrivance -
- The name for a small annoying boy
- An invention or gadget
- A small control for a motorised car.
Only one of the definitions is the correct one.
