Literacy Homework - The Demon Headmaster

This homework is due on Friday 12th March when we will put our booklets together.
I have been very impressed with the creative work you have produced in class, which has been inspired by the Demon Headmaster. Please pick one of the options below or make up your own creative idea. Remember it must be different from the ones you have produced in class and should be displayed on an A4 piece of paper. If you have worked for forty mintues you can add the decoration and colour in school.
- Diary entries. Focusing on a dairy entry being a reaction to events, with some description of actions, but always related to feelings, emotions and personal reactions. For Example, how did Dinah feel after her first day at school or Lloyds impression of Dinah being in the house.
- In episode 2 the prefects give the children a punishment where they have to sweep up all the snow in the playgrounds and make it in to snowballs. All done in shirt sleeves. Come up with a list of alternative sadistic punishments the prefects could use.
- Write about Dinah's life before she went to live at the Hunter's. Why is she an orphan, is there a reason why she is so clever?
- What are the advantages and disadvantages of being the Demon Headmaster.
