Sentence Homework: Thursday 2nd September Due: Monday 6th September
Complete the “Commas in Complex Sentences” sheet, and stick it into your spelling homework books.
Optional Extension:
Read “Toothie and the Cat”.

Look for simple sentences. Write them out, and then add in clauses to make them into complex sentences.
e.g.
Toothie and Cat were well fed and content.
Toothie and Cat, who had begun to experience the warmth of friend ship, were well fed and content.
or
His leg healed.
His leg, which had caused him discomfort for such a long time, finally healed.

I really liked Toothie and the Cat. They were very nice and kind to each other cause this is a story about friendship.
