Residential T-shirt Design
Design A Residential T-Shirt Competition!
Due Monday 20th September.

We need you to design our 2011 Residential T-Shirt.
Tear a page from your school ART book and using a black pen or marker, outline some design features which we may add to the 2011 Residential T-Shirt.
DO NOT COLOUR IN YOUR DESIGNS.
SIMPLY OUTLINE THEM IN BLACK.
Khao Yao is famous for its waterfalls and wildlife like bats, elephant, tigers, gibbons, porcupines, civets, deer, hornbill birds and eagles.
Animals are always fun to draw and will be on the final design.
With our new tree-planting activity going ahead this year a focus for our residential T-Shirts will be trees and planting trees!
We will also need some lettering, so if you are an expert in groovy writing have a go at:
"Khao Yai"
"2011"
"Residential"
"Year 5"
As you can see - there are at least 13 different elements that make up the 2010 design. They all started as black outline sketches, were cut and pasted onto the one design and later coloured by the screen printers.

We insist your own sketching as opposed to computer generated work or tracing!
Here are some images from google that might help to get you into the right frame of mind.

Last year we had a mascot which starred on our Residential T shirt, our Cap and all the way through our Residential Booklet.
He was a cute little deer, designed by Poon.

This year we would like a cartoon tree - maybe your cartoon tree might be our residential mascot this year?

YEAR 5 KHAO YAI 2011???
Remember...
DO NOT COLOUR IN YOUR DESIGNS.
SIMPLY OUTLINE THEM IN BLACK.
JUST LIKE THIS...

Add your name and class to your work and hand in to your teacher next Monday.
Good luck everybody!
