Shoeboxes for Christmas
We are giving Christmas presents to the children in Good Shepherd Sisters Day care Centre. Here are the rules:
Do not spend any more than 200 baht on the contents of your shoebox – (The 20 baht shop on Soi La Salle is fantastic). I suggest about 7 or 8 items.
Do not include any food in your shoebox
Please make sure that whatever you put in is suitable for children between the ages of 3-6 (they might swallow small toys).
If you are a boy, please make a shoebox suitable for a little boy and if you are a girl, please make a shoebox for a little girl. If you want to make two you are obviously more than welcome to.
Please wrap up the shoebox to make it look pretty, but make sure that you wrap up the lid and the box separately so that you are still able to open it.
When you get to school, ask your teacher for a sticky label and write Girl or Boy on it. If you can find someone in your class who can write it in Thai too, that would be useful.
Please bring your shoebox in by Friday 3rd December.
