Could Kerrianne, Santi, Amy, Fresh, Navraj and William please remember their parent consulation forms tomorrow.

Tuesday Homework

Well done with the journalistic work today 5J - you are understanding this genre very well.

Later on in the week we are going to be writing articles about the first ever moon landings - you are going to be journalists writing articles the day after man stepped on the moon, back in 1969. A very exciting moment in history!

To do this you will need to carry out some research. In your red Literacy Homework books (most of you remembered these, if you didn't please do write your notes on a neat piece of paper. Please can you look at the websites below and spend 30 minutes making bullet point notes about the Apollo 11 mission in 1969 (there were others but please focus on the first one). Remember the tips we used in note taking, you don't not need to write in full sentences and you can use symbols and abbreviations.

Make sure you have included the 5 W's...and possibly a quote.

This work is due on Thursday.

This picture was found by Mr Gosling - it's very funnny,
