Green day was really fun! At home my mum drank half a coke can and my brother finished the other half. After that I drank half of a coke can and my other brother drank the other half. Then I got one of my hairbands and stuck the coke cans on the hairband.

Awesome headpiece. What a good way to recycle 2 cans of Coke. I like earth day because, children and grown-ups from all around the world are taking care of the planet.

We had a great time and there were excellent opportunities to develop our learning about a range of habitats. If you visit our classroom you will be able to see the learning that followed on from our visit. 
The fishes look amazing. I hope I was still there to be able to go.

250g of wholemeal flour |
|

A teaspoon of salt |
|
|
|
50ml of water |
|
|
|
Put the flour and salt in a bowl and add the water bit by bit, stirring it in carefully. Don’t put too much in at once. Keep adding water until the flour turns into a sticky lump of dough. |

Sprinkle some flour on a board and roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1cm. Cut out the biscuits. |

Prick the biscuits with a fork to let out any air bubbles. Put them on a greased baking tray. |

Ask a grown-up to put them in the oven for you. Bake them in a very cool oven (Gas Mark 1, 275°F or 140°C) for about two hours, or until they are hard and dry. |
