Each class has visited Mr. Taylor in a Secondary School Laboratory.
The children had the opportunity to examine fibres found at the crime scene where some computers have been stolen. Year 4 are using their knowledge of science to find evident to identify the perpetrator. Each day they are developing skills in the following areas.
Fingerprint techniques
Identifying powders and footprnts
Bones
Teeth
The children are applying these new skills to reveal the thief and present conclusive evidence on Friday.







I really enjoyed in the secondary lab because the microscope was really amazing!
