We've got the Force! - Thursday's Homework
Your homework for Thursday is to learn the words to our Super Science Song - We've Got the Force. In addition to learning the words we would like you to make up some actions (or even a dance) to go along with the song. Good luck and enjoy!
We’ve Got The Force
CHORUS:
If you want pulling or pushing or spinning around,
If you want upthrust or gravity to get to the ground,
If you want stretching or moving as a matter of course,
You’ll want us, (uhh)
‘Cos we got the force! (uhh)
Well we meet with some resistance almost everywhere.
In the water, on the ground and even up in the air.
It’s slows us down, a bit of friction and things get hot.
But that’s only on the surface and we like it a lot!
CHORUS
Now wait, here’s a force pulling down on everything.
It’s measured in Newtons, with a force metre spring.
And when the two yield as elastic and they’re under attack,
There’s opposition. They push back!
CHORUS
But we’re a pair of magnets and we think it’s a plus,
If you’re made of steel or iron, you’re attracted to us!
But with each other we like difference as I’m sure you can tell.
Unlikes attract, and like poles repel!
CHORUS
That song is very coolIi want to sing all the time like forever and ever
