Flood Closure homework update
Dear 4H,
Mr Goligher has put a new message on the Year 4 blog which can be found on the opening page.
I have had two flood poems this morning from Pin and Proud - thank you both very much for those!
I will be delighted to hear from others who have done work from the matrix and would like to send it to me as an attachment. When you do, please can you let me know if this work could be shared with the rest of the class and I will select some to attach to the blog.
I hope that you are all staying safe and I will look forward to seeing you back at school as soon as possible.
Best wishes
Mr. Hockley.

Flood Closure homework update
Dear 4H,
Please can you check the MFL blog as there has been some homework exercises put on there. The Year Four Homework blog also has activities from the Thai and ICT dept.
I will be happy to answer any questions about the matrix homework which has been set, based largely around Inventions that changed the World. I have already put some websites on the blog above to help you and below is a further one linked to Electricity
http://www.eon-uk.com/mediaFiles/factfile3.swf
Another option is to go to Google and type in Inventions and Inventors for kids.
We will not be setting any specific Mymaths exercises but if you get on to the site, you could try doing tasks related to the work we have done so far this year:
Times tables; written addition, subtraction and multiplication; place value; number sequencing; 2D and 3D shape; halving and doubling; related problem solving.
That should be enough to last for the period that we are off school.
I will be happy to check any work that you have completed using a Word document or powerpoint and wish to send to me as an attachment. However, I will not be able to print anything until we return to school so, if possible, please can you print any work off at home.
I hope that you are all staying both dry and safe and I will look forward to seeing you all when school reopens. I will be aiming to communicate through the blog every day, internet connections permitting.
Mr. Hockley
