4H Pond dipping

 On Thursday we had a fabulous morning searching for land and aquatic mini-beasts at the Outdoor classroom behind the playing fields across the road. Amongst creatures spotted, collected, examined, recorded and released were: dragonflies, freshwater shrimps, water spiders, stick insects, grasshoppers, frogs, ladybugs, beetles, snails, spiders, butterflies, water boatmen and moths.

Many thanks to Beatrice Walker, Marion Bravo-Bhasin and Maria Woodrow for volunteering to help in this venture - your assistance was invaluable!
