4H : Welcome to the 4H Smiley's blog!

Back to School!

Dear 4H,

Hopefully, you will all by now have heard the good news that school is to re-open on Monday. It will be great to see you all back and eager to begin in-class learning again.

Please can you bring in any work that you have done during the enforced break. If you have a printer at home, please could you print the work out yourself rather than sending it to me to print as this would take up a lot of time and use up a great deal of the printer's resources, especially if children from other classes are doing the same! Thank you.

I have received a lot of good work already - some of which I have shared with you at the request of the sender. Here is one more, a flood poem from Proud. Thank you, Proud.

I hope that all of you will stay safe and dry over the weekend.

Mr. Hockley

Flood in Bangkok

Flood is water coming from heavy rain

Flood can destroy charming little flowers

Flood is full of rubbish floating every where

The wavy water splashes on my face

Oh what a disgrace!

Flood water could not be drank cause it’s all a smelly bank

The food in floods are running out

All in a  empty mall like it was fall

Flood is sorrow water and tears

And I wish it will never come again.
