The Toybox!

The children have enjoyed their first week's learning, linked to our new theme of "The Toybox!"
They have discussed our main learning questions:
- What toys do you have at home and why do you need them?
- What are toys made from?
- Did the toys from a long time ago look like our toys today?
- If you could invent a toy what would it be and why?
The children have played some playground rhyming games; learning some clapping games some choosing rhymes and some team games - great fun!
They have talked about the toys that they used to have when they were younger, the toys they have now and the ones they think they might have when they are older, which was a fascinating discussion!
Most of all, the children have enjoyed being back at school and spending time with their friends - it is great to see them playing and learning together.
