Year 1 Octathlon

Our class banner was finished, our class "chant" was ready to go, the children were changed and eager ... it was time for our Octathlon to start!! Lots of our parents had managed to make it in to cheer everyone on through all of the events and the children gave their all at every different station. By the time we had reached the "Closing Ceremony" on the playground there were lots of tired legs in need of their lunch - I was not surprised, as they had been fantastic and given everything during the morning. It certainly was a memorable celebration of our Olympic theme.
