Today was a day we had looked forward to since last week - it was a day when there would be lots of children working with their parents and friends to create a poster to celebrate their home country. We all had a great time, with a lot of research being done in the Library, on the computer and through talking to people. The children created such a "buzz" in the classroom - it was lovely to see. There were printer issues and having to share rexources, but everyone just got on with their jobs and came up with some wonderfully original posters, with a huge amount of information on each one. A big thank you to all of the parents who came in and helped, making sure that everything went with a very smooth feel to it! Well done to all of the children, you deserve great credit for a very busy couple of hours that just seemed to whizz by!
