Admin EditBuilding a mega-city!
As a part of our "Houses and Homes" topic, the children were challenged to build their idea of what a mega-city would look like. Using any construction equipment they wanted, working in teams or individually and using the knowledge they already had about houses and homes that they had seen, the children set about building their city.
It was wonderful to watch them create, discuss, build, alter, co-operate and play with their creation. They had a great time and it was great to see how many children wanted to be involved with the project - each new person finding someone to help or something of their own that they wanted to build.
