1S Visited Wat Kra Tum

On Thursday 12th May, 1S boarded school mini buses and drove off to visit a temple as a part of "Our Wonderful World" topic. They experienced merit making, gold leaf rubbing, feeding the fishes and folding petals on a lotus flower among the interesting activities they took part in. It was a great morning, which they all enjoyed. Many thanks to the parents for their time and help with the trip - it was very much appreciated. :)

The temple is built next to a river.

There are wonderful views from the Buddha Room.

The boat where we fed the fishes from.

One of the many beautiful buildings.

Ready to start on the trip - after our snack!

Making Merit.

Rubbing on the gold leaf.

Lighting the incense sticks.

Letting the Angels know we have visited the Buddhas

Feeding the fish.

Hungry Fishes!

Making the beautiful Lotus flowers.

Just wonderful!

Sketching in the Buddha room.

Concentrating hard!

One of the big Buddha statues.

Ben brought me a lotus flower from the temple. We put it in front of the Buddha at home. Very nice!
