Making Imaginary Worlds by Following Instructions

Published Wednesday, September 21, 2011.
Last updated: Wednesday, September 21, 2011

The children were given the Learning Question (LQ) "Can you follow some instructions to make an imaginary world to play with?" They chose the type of 'world' they wanted to construct and then took the instructions for it. Working as a team, they sorted out who was going to do what and how their 'world' was going to be made ... it was wonderful to see and the finished settings were amazing. :)

I am looking to do a similar thing with my Year 6 class and I came across your worlds. They are fantastic and I shall be showing them to the Year 6 children at Warminster Prep School in Wiltshire, England.
