This week, one of our fairy stories was Hansel and Gretal. We had lots of fun following a trail of counters and yesterday we made our own Gingerbread house. We carefully decorated biscuits with different sweets and used the biscuits as bricks to make our own Gingerbread house.

Book change with Year 3
Today we did our book change with Year Three. We each had a Year 3 buddy. They helped us change our books and we shared our books with them. We had lots of fun and made a new friend. We are looking forward to working with them after half term.

Bread making
This week we read the story of The Little Red Hen. We have enjoyed retelling it with the repetitive langugae. Today Khun Nit came and showed us how to make bread. We made the dough and let it rise. Then we each made a small bread roll. We put them in the oven and then after lunch we ate delicious warm rolls with jam.

Three Billy Goats Gruff
Today Calista's mum came and read to us in Chinese. It was lovely to hear a familiar story in a different language.

Tiger Day
What GRRRRRREAT day down in K2 today. We spent time with our Year 6 Buddies making bookmarks. We had a special Tiger Hunt Assembly with Mrs. Jane and lots of black and orange activities in class. This afternoon we went on our own bear hunt. Have a look at our pictures...
