A Polar Bear? On Safari?
Last week K2J went on safari to see what animals they could find lurking under trees, behind bushes and down by the stream. However we got more than we bargained for when we found a Polar Bear trying to keep cool in the shade. K2J then had to think of reasons, why the Safari environment was not suitable for a Polar Bear. As the week went on we found out more about the animals you could find on safari as well as experimenting with ice.

How can we get these animals out of the ice?

Dory, our K2J fish...
On Friday 10th Febrary we were able to release our class fish into the pond outside of the library. We read the story 'Tiddler' by Julia Donaldson and this served as a stimulus for the names of our fish. 'Little Johnny Dory' enjoys a good story. After a class vote between Tiddler, Nemo and Dory. Dory was the winner and was released into the pond. A very exciting morning.
