This week we went up to our buddy class in Year One. We did an exciting treasure hunt aorund Year One using the ipads to read QR codes. We chatted to our Year One buddies about life in Year One. Our buddies were able to ask all of our questions.

Camping
This week K2J having been using the outdoor learning envirornment. We have managed to dodge the rain this week to go on our camping trip....
Nothing beats camping! Looks like you all had a really fun time.

A Pilot Comes to call.
On Wednesday, Mr. Edwards, Miles' dad, came to talk to us about what it is like to be a helicopter pilot.

Trips to space and alien visitors.
This week we have been continuing to think about space. We have been learning about the planets in our Solar System, but also thinking about the possibilitiy alien life...
We have planned and told stories using paper as well as the ipads. We have also been drawing and painting our alien creations. We used popoids and k'nex to make alien characters.
