What a fantastic Tiger Spirit Day!
The whole school was awash with orange and black today and there were hundreds of friendly tigers roaming around! Our very own K2L tigers started the day with a photo shoot in the garden which was quickly followed by a well deserved swim. I didn't know tigers were such good swimmers! A quick break and a story called "The Tiger Who Came To Tea" was followed by our Tiger Day assembly. Singing, dancing and a tiger story performance were the order of the day. As a special surprise, we then all buddied up with a Year 6 student to work on some Tiger Day activities. Painting, hat making, claywork, making bookmarks were just some of the activities on offer. And to finish the day, we celebrated a K2L tiger's birthday who turned 5 today. Happy Birthday Tiger Teo!
I expect there will be many tired little tigers in Bangkok tonight!

Where can Goldilocks be?
We have all thoroughly enjoyed our recent work Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Did you know that there many versions of this fairy tale? Sometimes Mummy Bear's porrigde is too cold, and sometimes too sweet! Daddy Bear's bed is sometimes too lumpy and other times too hard. But poor little Baby Bear's things are always just right.......................

K2L go in search of Goldilocks!

Is she at the pool?

What gorgeous bear hats, K2L!

Goldilocks visits K2L......is that really Goldilocks?

Working together to get the ears on our bear hats.

Has Goldilocks eaten your porridge?

Where are you Goldilocks?
Run, run as fast as you can...........
The Gingerbread Man was a wonderful Fairy Tale to focus on and the children enjoyed all acticities on offer! Baking Gingerbread Men was particularly exciting. Please try our very simple recipe at home. The large display board outside our classroom is covered with beautiful paintings and collages of gingerbread people. Did you know that the Gingerbread Man can speak so many languages? Come and see our speech bubbles!

I am making a card for the Gingerbread Man's sister!
I have made two cards!

The Gingerbread can speak Thai......

and Mandarin, too!

The fox is going to eat you. Don't get on his back, Gingerbread Man!
