Siam Ocean World Visit
The level of excitement and anticipation was at an all time high last Wednesday morning as the K2 students, their teachers and parent helpers boarded the coaches which would take them to Siam Ocean World for a morning of discovery and adventure!
For some children, it was the journey itself which was the highlight. For others, it was the vast array of sea creatures on display and for some children, it was the walk through the “shark tunnel” which offered the experience of being among the sharks and sting rays without actually getting wet. All in all, the children all came away with a renewed conviction that we must all work together to keep our environment clean, safe and healthy for all these wonderfully diverse aquatic creatures.

I loved Ocean World, I wish I could go back. My favourite animals were the penguins.

The children of K2 had their first ever swimming gala today, Tuesday 10th May.
K2L were just FANTASTIC!
There were a few nervous moments as we approached the pool but they quickly disappeared once the children got into the water!
Each child will receive a Swimming Gala Certificate and ribbon to be proudly displayed in their Learning Journeys.
Many thanks to the swimming coaches and PE staff for organising the K2 Swimming Gala.
Enjoy just a few of our photos from this fantastic event.

Wow it looks like so much fun in the swimming pool!! What a lovely way to spend a hot day. It is raining and cold in Melbourne at the moment so I am very jealous.
Lots of love,
Kate (Jamie's auntie)

Teo was so proud to walk right across the stepping stones. Well done darling!
GREEN DAY
Wednesday 4th of May was Green Day around the world and the students of K2L really got into the spirit of the day by participating in lots of green activities in class such as making recycled paper, papier mache, playing with green playdough and even making a green book!
Please enjoy our photos.
And remember.....REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE!

Being creative with natural resources
The pupils in K2L have been invovled in creating outdoor sculptures this week using only natural resources, such as logs, tree stumps, pebbles, stones, fallen leaves and flowers. The ability to cooperate and collaborate was very evident during this recent session and the results are, as I am sure you will agree, just fantastic!
Well done, K2L. I am so proud of you all!
Enjoy the photos...........

Really creative! I love them. Can they come to my garden and do the same?
Nice work K2L, really artistic :)
