What a cracking week!
The very famous nurery rhyme, Humpty Dumpty, has been our focus in K2L this week. In a mere four days, we managed to cracks eggs, boil eggs, compare eggs, draw eggs, collage eggs and sing about eggs. In fact, the only thing we didn't do was EAT eggs! The children have had a great week but it's time to say good-bye to Humpty Dumpty and say hello to The Gingerbread Man, who will be our focus next week.
Please enjoy our attached photographs. Thank you (especially grandparents in far away places) for your comments. We will be looking at our blog together in assembly next week and it would be lovely if every child had a comment.

K2L's very own Humpty Dumpty

We made this one with a real egg.

We put him on our wall.

This is what happened!

I am going to collage my Humpty.

He is falling like this.

Lovely to see all the Humpty Dumpty fun that K2L have been having. Everyone looks so happy.

Our focus on the Nursery Rhyme, Incy Wincy Spider, generated lots of interesting discussions and actvities this week. Creating webs with gold and silver pens was particularly popular. Please come and see them hanging all around our classroom. Accompanying these wonderful intricate webs are very colourful spiders, drawn in oil pastels.
The children had so many interesting questions about spiders that we decided further research was required and a trip to the Primary Library was organised. We were greeted by Khun White who happily directed us to the Spider section where we found exactly 22 information books about spiders..........one for each student in K2L! We borrowed each book and have enjoyed reading, sharing and browsing through them ever since.
Humpty Dumpty will be our Nursery Rhyme next week. The children are already looking forward to cracking some eggs!

Such creative children, hope there is an art exhibit this year!

All of the students of K2L have enjoyed our focus on the nursery rhyme, "Mary Had a Little Lamb" this week. Making lamb hats to wear as they performed at today's assembly was the high light of the week. We will be looking at "Incy Wincy Spider" next week.
Please enjoy the attached photographs of busy K2L students taken this week!

This lunch is delicious!

I'm decorating my Writing Folder.

It's show time!

It is wonderful to see the faces of our grandson's classmates, and the photo of him (Filippo Rogan) with a scary spider. Thanks for the information of all the exciting activities in your classroom. We live in Orbetello, a small city in Tuscany on the west coast of Italy.
