On the last Friday of term, the children from K2 disappeared. Instead of lovely children in the classroom we had Wizards and Witches!!!!
"We made brromsticks to fly on!"
We are ready to fly.
Away we go!
"We found a magic tree."
"The red was hot."
"The white was cold."
Aidan made a magic spell to trun everyone into animals.
But only Miss Harsha changed into an animal!
We went over a magic bridge!
Look at us fly!
We found a sparkly river.
We made a magic spell to walk on water!
"Look at me, walking over the water."
Next we made a magic spell to go to a Zoo.
We said some magic words...
and turned around three times.
Matias turned around four times...
Oh no the animals at the Zoo had shrunk!
Oh no, let's try another spell.
Look what happened this time!
We are the ones that shrank!

We found a cauldron. What is it for?
Miss Harsha had a look inside.
Oh no she fell in.
Where has she gone?
Miss Harsha where are you?
We made a circle and sang Bibi-di-bobi-dii-boo...

Finally Miss Harsha reappeared again.
We finished our adventure with some magic jelly that we made the day before.

K2A have been doing lots of investigations to fine out what happens when you mix things together.
A Witches and Wizards Lab has been created in the classroom.
The children have been busy mixing different things to make potions.
Be careful if you enter K2A as the children have been creating their own spells to turn people into:
frogs, dinosaurs, zebras...
We are making wands for our spells
We have mixed pasta with water and food colouring.
I wonder if this is what Witches and Wizards eat?

I am using a funnel to put glitter into a test tube.

The honey is at the bottom, then the water and the oil is on top.

Magic Carpet Ride
We found a carpet rolled up in the classroom
The girls took it outside to see what it would do
The boys helped to un-roll it.
Everyone quickly got on the carpet and held on tight to the sides.
...and we're off!
we saw lots of pictures in the clouds.
What can you see?
We landed in the desert with a bump.
Oh no it is sinking sand!
We are digging for treasure.
We found some diamonds and crystals!
Time to get back onto the carpet.
I wonder where we will go next?!
The sea... and look... there is a pirate ship!
There are sharks in teh water- we will have to be careful.
A pirate has taken our treasure from the desert
We have to go on the ship to get it back.
There is the Pirate- luckily we got the treasure back!
Time to go back onto the Carpet- these two children are checking the water for sharks.
Phew... luckily there are not any. Quick everyone swim to the Carpet.
Time to go!!!! We have landed in the jungle.
Let's walk up the Amazon river.
Be careful of the fish

Wow so much treasure!
Time to get back on that carpet- I hear a tiger roaring!
Off we go!
We landed in Space for our new destination.
Quick hide we can hear aliens coming!
Let's hide in this Spaceship.
One more stop-the Three Bears House!

What beautiful plants.
Hmmm milk- it is not too hot or too cold. It is just right!
Time to go quickly before the Bears come home.
