Y1A: This weblog has been set up in order for family and friends all around the world to see the things that the children of Y1A are doing at school this year.

Pat -a-cake, pat-a-cake

Published Wednesday, September 08, 2010.

The children have been learning about Nursery Rhymes.

They have been singing:

Bar bar black sheep

Humpty Dumpty

Incy Wincy Spider

Jack and Jill

Pat-a-Cake, Pat-a-Cake

Mary had a little lamb

The Grand Old Duke of York

These two girls have been busy making Birthday cakes.

Who are they for?

Well done boys these cakes look very tasty.

 Welcome to K2A's Bakery!

Let's have a look at what is going on inside.

I am making a cherry cake.

Look at all of the Bakers below!

 Where are you going?

"We are going to the Patana Bakery!"

The bread was mixing, and I was doing the sound of the instruments with the spoon.  It took 30 minutes to make the bread.  It taste good.  It is Banana bread.  Inside is honey, some salt, yeast, plain yogurt, that's it.  I made it with Daddy, I was a good helper.  I forgot... flour as well.

After school today (Tuesday) Alida and I made bread! I took a picture but don't know how to load it here.

She can tell you all the ingredients in bread since we often make it.

I am delighted to be able to see my Niece and what she does in school. from the USA. This is such a great blog and very nicely done. I especially like that her dad can post as well. Happy Baking!

To be able to see my granddaughter Mia and her classmates enjoying their baking day from England was truly magic. Thank you Miss Amy for this great web blog.
