Maths: Multiplying and Dividing Practice

Literacy:

As we have been learning about African Slavery, we would like you to write a short story set in these times. Your story could include being kidnapped from your village or the terrifying journey on the slave ship. Perhaps you could write a story set in a cotton plantation or at the slave auction. You can write from the slaves point of view or perhaps you would like to be a slave owner? It is your choice.

Before you write, think about all the elements of effective story writing and try to apply these to your writing.

e.g. wow words, a range of sentences, emotive language, detail and description etc...

Connected Learning: Please refer to the Home Learning matrix which can be found on the Year 6 Blog.
