6K: Learning for Life

Forced Migration

Published Tuesday, September 20, 2011.
Last updated: Wednesday, September 21, 2011

This week, our learning has progressed to thinking about 'forced migration' through History.

We are now focussing on the times of slavery when huge groups of Africans were forced to move away from their homelands and to work as slaves.

Their freedom was taken; their identity stolen.

Our freeze frames helped us learn about how this may have felt...

Why not check out the slavery links to discover more about these times?
