Loi Krathong

We had a fantastic day today celebrating Loi Krathong. Our day started with an assembly where we listened to some of our friends talk about Loi Krathong and watched some traditional dance. Then we played some traditional Thai games before making a krathong. In the afternoon we floated our krathongs on the pond.

We all had a lovely day. What did you enjoy  about today?

We had great fun with Science in Year 2!
 
2W started off investigating invisible writing with Miss Tracey... 

Then we experimented with floating and sinking with Miss Dianna ...

Next we were off to Miss Ann's to investigate electricity...

In Miss Rebecca's we played with goop. Was it a solid or was it a liquid?

 

With Miss Keri we investigated mixing oil and water to make a lava lamp ...

  

After that it was on to Mr Sean's classroom to find out about forces ... 

Finally, back with Miss Kay, we investigated fingerprints to find out if they are the same.
