How are you today, 2W? Here are some more learning tasks for you to do at home.

Mathematics Learning

Watch the video below so that you can answer the learning question:

  • Can I recall the 2 times-table?

Then do one of the following:

If you have not yet carried out yesterday’s Maths task, please look back at yesterday’s post and do that task.

OR

Click here for an activity related to the following learning question:
  • Can I show division as grouping?
  • Can I solve a division word problem and explain what I did step by step?

Literacy Learning

If you need to, please continue with your fairy tale writing, using other posts on this blog to help.

Investigating Traditional Tales

Take a look at these websites:

http://www.starfall.com/n/level-c/greek-myths/play.htm?f

http://www.aesops-fables.org.uk/

Then EITHER:

Choose one of the stories and create a storyboard to show the key parts of the story from beginning to end. Please check your class blog to find out whether to choose a fable or a myth.

OR

Choose two stories that you have read and click here for a sheet to explain your views about the stories that you have chosen.

OR

Choose one of the stories. Draw a scene from the story; include two characters and a background. Add speech or thought bubbles to show what the characters are saying or thinking.

Letters and Sounds
