On Friday 2R had a cake sale to raise money for our Year 2 charity. The children brought in cakes of all shapes, sizes and colours! Thank you so much to all of our wonderful parents for providing the cakes and making this event such a success. We raised over 5000 baht for the Day Care Centre so thank you again to all those who contributed. Well done 2R!
I liked my brownies. Good thing, there was one left for me!

We enjoyed a lovely Loy Krathong in 2R today. We started the day with a special assembly where we learnt about the meaning of Loy Krathong and enjoyed a wonderful Thai dance. Well done to Teal for speaking in the assembly and to Lyda and Nan for their beautiful dancing.
The children made bright and colourful collages, 3D boats and played some Thai games in the Play Den. We floated out Krathongs and made a wish for the new year! It was lovely to see so many parents at the floating, here are our photos from today.
I enjoyed a lot to make krathong.And also I loved to do thai dance.

On Friday 2R had an exciting day experimenting as Year 2 scientists. They visited each class in Year 2 and did a different experiment in each. They found out about magnets, electricity and floating and sinking. Everyone made lava lamps, gloop, fingerprints and messages with invisible ink. We even had an exciting visit from a Secondary Science teacher. Thanks again to all of the parents who helped in 2R.
The scientists were brilliant at science, especially professor Rebecca and I enjoyed 2R and 2K.I enjoyed 2R cause my mum was there and it was brilliant.I enjoyed 2K cause the bubbles in the lava lamps.
