2R had lots of fun on the field today and started Songkran celebrations in style by squirting each other (and the teachers!) with water, sliding along on the slippery slide and pouring buckets over everyone!

Picasso Portraits

We have been learning about different artists in Art and ICT this term including Van Gogh, Arcimboldo and Picasso. We drew a pencil portrait of ourselves and then turned it into an abstract portrait in the style of Picasso. First we cut up our portraits and re-arranged the pieces to make an abstract face. Then we used oil pastels to create bright blocks of colour.
