2R have been finding out about vehicles and how they work. They used lego, K-nex, duplo and mobilo to make a vehicle with a chassis, axes and wheels. They investigated different ways of joining the wheels and the axes. Some children made vehicles where the axel was free to rotate and the wheels were attached tightly. Others made vehicles where the axel was fixed with the wheel free to rotate around it. Can you name some other parts of a vehicle?
