Learning Superhero Day!
Today 2R celebrated Learning Superhero Day. This was to celebrate that we are our all powerful learners and in charge of our own learning.
In class, we talked about each of our learning strengths as super powers that help us to be learning heroes, both in and out of school. Every child designed a superhero costume for themselves and wrote a speech bubble telling us about a kind of learning (reflective, caring, thinker, communicator, balanced, knowledgeable, open-minded, inquirer, risk-taker or principled) that was a personal strength. We made a class display to show everyone’s super-learning strength.

During the day the children designed Mr Men and Little Miss characters for each learning power and thought carefully about what they would look like and what they might be doing. Some children decided they wanted to write a comic strip all about the adventures of Little Miss Open-minded or Mr Thinker's Journey. Others chose to draw Little Miss Caring helping others or even the bedroom of Mr Balanced and Mr Risk-Taker! Thank you to all our parents for their support and hard work with the costumes – they all looked super!

I like the pictures and day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
