We enjoyed a wonderful Mela Day in Year 4 last week and learnt lots about Indian culture through a brilliant opening performance from the Indian children in the year group. Well done to Aryan and Aryaman for being risk-takers and speaking in front of all the other classes, parents and teachers! After that we moved around each classroom and enjoyed activities such as making Rangoli patterns, bollywood dancing, learning about folk tales, writing our names in Hindi on bookmarks and tasting an Indian snack. Thank you so much to Meena, Shweta and to all of the fantastic parents involved in organising the day.
