Asking a question in Chinese
二零一二年四月二日 星期一
|
Y4 Learning Question: Can I ask what fruit people have and understand the “yes/no” response?
|
你有草莓吗?nǐ yǒu cǎoméi ma? (Do you have strawberry?
有,我有草莓。yǒu, wǒ yǒu cǎoméi. (Yes, I have strawberry)
没有,我没有草莓。méiyǒu,wǒ méiyǒu cǎoméi。(No, I do not have strawberry)
It’s easy to ask question in Chinese.
“吗ma” at the end of a sentence changes the sentence into a question.
For example:
“我有草莓wǒ yǒu cǎoméi” means “I have strawberry”
but when”吗ma” is added at the end,
“我有草莓吗? wǒ yǒu cǎoméi ma?” means “Do I have strawberry?”
Here is a list of the words we have learned, now try to remember these words and ask questions using "ma" and these words.
xiāngjiāo 香蕉
pútao 葡萄
cǎoméi 草莓
bōluó 菠萝
lí 梨
lìzhī 荔枝
píngguǒ 苹果
